Play Associations
All Play Associations provide a range of infrastructure support to the voluntary and community sector. Many will provide a range of short courses and training:
Bucks Play Association
Committed to promoting, supporting and developing inclusive play provision for parents/childcare providers, childcare settings and play providers in Buckinghamshire, with an emphasis on enabling those in rural and disadvantaged areas and those with additional educational needs to have the same opportunities as their more affluent or mainstream counterparts. The Play Association runs three main projects, All Play Together, Let’s Play Together and the Boomerang Toy Library.
Milton Keynes Play Association
Provides a range of training including:
Getting the most from staff and volunteers
Staff Appraisals
Getting the most from your day (time management)
Writing Risk Assessments
Introduction into becoming a Trustee
Oxfordshire Play Association
Provides a range of training including short taster sessions for vcs staff/volunteers on:
Time management
Dealing with difficult people
Motivation
Staff Management
